This is getting ridiculous Bivol clearly lost. 7-5 or 8-4 the result is same a crooked promoter can’t get his way and is throwing his toys out of the box move the f*** on.

I thought AB locked up a draw because he "won the championship rounds" but of course I gave him a few rounds before we got to said championship rounds as well lol
“You must take the decision from popular opponents”
in the final rounds
Artur went for it
Biv didn’t. his corner instructions or amateur boxing mindset costed him the decision

Bivol arms must be very sore from all those punches he blocked all night, even Frank Warren had it for Bivol by a couple rounds,, but I guess for casual fans the winner is the one that throws more punches, not the one that lands more not to mention cleaner shots,,compubox give Bivol 6 rounds and 5 to Beterbiev and one draw, the point is you can’t expect a decision in your favor against a ****** in a ****** country plain and simple

There is no “swaying” in boxing!!” Rounds are scored round by round; each individually under its own merits. A judge shouldn’t be “swayed” in “later rounds” that would change the outcome of a fight! If a fighter, fighting a 12 round fight takes the first 7 then the other fighter comes on that’s a 7-5 fight! Even if he is brutally pummeled (short of a 10-8) it’s still 7-5! There isn’t “sway” to go back and change a couple 10-9s in earlier rounds that changes the outcome. I loathe the term “sway” in boxing.
Having said that, I remember when I was just starting to follow boxing some 25 years ago, I was watching a fight. Both boxers were relatively unknown. One was pressing the fight and marching forward, the other was easily dodging the punches and shifting out of trouble. Neither was landing anyting of substance. I was sure the slick fighter had it in the bag. I was surprised when the score was a washout for the agressive fighter. These things do happen - neither fighter outlanded the other one. Beterbiev was more agressive, controlled the ring and threw more. Personally I thought Bivol should have edged it (and I made some money betting on Beterbiev, so I was as impartial as I could be, LOL), but I wouldn't cry robbery.
To me, the big question is who can do better in a rematch? Logic suggests Beterbiev as he now does not need extra time to figure Bivol out and can start where he left off. However, this was a relatively high energy fight, and Beterbiev is not getting any younger. I was surprised Beterbiev was slight underdog. Bivol willl probably be the underdog in the rematch, but I think it's still a 50/50 fight.
I rarely enjoy even fights (I like it when one fighter dominates the other, seel Calzaghe-Lacy), but this was an exception.
