Joe thinks thats if Kessler wins, it proves how good he was. I guess there is some merit in that, but what happens if Ward dominates Kessler and takes his belt. In the past i have stated that Kessler was overrated, like Jeff Lacy, and was built up to make a Calzaghe victory more meaningful. But in a few weeks we will see if Kessler is all hype or the real deal and i have my doubts. I also have my doubts about Calzaghes greatness and really hate that we are going to base How good Calzaghe really was on how well Kessler does in the Tournament. Right now i am giving the edge to Ward to win in front of his fans at home. Is not a popular pick but will shake up the division and make old myths of Calzaghes greatness come into question and Prove that Kessler was indeed overrated

Does your method really work? Even if Ward beat Kessler, guess who beat Kessler first and took their soul? Calzaghe did, so the outcome of how Kessler does in the tourney doesn't mean **** since he is the first to beat him. Boxers lose something a bit more when they lose their 0, they realize that they weren't that bad ass they thought they were and can be beaten.

Different fighters react different to losses, some can come back and be better then ever. But Kessler has not had a live opponent infront of him, so we don't even know if he is even as good as he once was.

to kingfaze 19 why the hell would calzaghe return to the ring and give bhop when we beat him easily. Face facts calzaghe is the best super middleweight of his generation and no matter what you say he beat everybody put in front of him. Everyone one of the american fighters you kept putting in front of him he schooled them all so shut the hell up unless you have anything to back it up

Winning a Split Decision is far from easy.

Kessler was good enough to be a 2 division champion. And when Calzage gave him a good beating, Kessler was able to "re-group" and win another title.

Cal's first sentence speaks volumes why he said what he said, It'd be good for British boxing he says, such a statement masks his true sentiments. I guess he figures if he says something good about Froch then Froch will quit mentioning his name.
