Joe Calzaghe: "Froch Beats Dirrell, But Kessler The Best"

The pressure fighting in Oakland will be a factor, but I just cannot see Ward outboxing Kessler for 12 rounds regardless of how many times he switches stance.

I didn't even factor switching stances because I don't think the difference will be that big. What I outlined above is what I see giving him trouble.

Don't get me wrong, I still expect Kessler to win. He's one of my favorites, but I cannot be biased. IMO, the fight with Ward is much harder than it appears.

He's a joker, because he got the speed but can he even go 12 rounds? I don't know, but a right bomb from Kessler makes music upstairs. Except if you are mexican.

I've said before that Kessler is the favorite for the whole thing, and is one of my favorite fighters. He'll probably win it all.

I just stated why I believe Ward is his toughest challenge.

Idk where that video is from but other videos he has several times said joe calzaghe was a great champion. Not just him has said that either, Ward has said it aswell on a few occasions.

lol I wonder what the odds are for a double knockout or a draw.

I never saw any of the interviews where he respected Calzaghe. I'm sure they're out there, but yeah its funny how people say things they don't mean or change so quickly

I know Taylor and Kessler have big respect for Calzaghe. And think I heard tht from Ward too.

I reckon Froch has big respect for him too, but he holds out on the possibility he can make a fight with him. That isn't happening now so I think he's eased down on the Calzaghe hate.

Its funny though, one of Froch's biggest criticisms of Joe was that he fought a 43 year old Hopkins.

But when Hopkins said he would beat Froch after watching the Taylor fight, Froch wanted to make that fight.
