We cant really call any close fight a robbery 'per se' but the decision should've been given to Bivol yes indeed but hey, now a rematch is justified so we get more if we look the bright side.

Eddie Hearn is a jinks to his fighters. Da La Hoya says it's a real thing (in a YouTube video). I didn't believe him, but the pattern this year is undeniable. Bivol needs to ditch him.

I had bivol winning but when he turned off the gas in the championship rounds that he was opening the door for the judges to blank him those rounds. I had him winning 115-113 or 116-112. I do think the wrong man won. The name of the game is EFFECTIVE aggression. Just coming forward doesn’t win rounds, or at least isn’t supposed to.
having said that, as much disdain I have for the arrogant muppet Hearn and how much I’d like to see him out of the sport of boxing, I do feel sorry for what’s happened to his image. To see him begging “his excellency” acting like an errand boy, a house boy, one of Al-sheikh’s eunuchs, it is really pathetic how low he’s allowed himself to sink just to sell his soul for 30 pieces of silver. And frank isn’t any better. Watching him next to “his excellency”, snickering, whispering in his ear, these British promoters have really lost respect. It’s embarrassing. Arum has a working relationship with Turki and you don’t see him sucking up like this. And I do hope Haymon stays away and chooses to be his own man

No robbery. No problem with Beterbiev winning. My problem is 116-112 (8-4). Anyone who can find eight rounds for Artur can also find hen's teeth on a Manhattan sidewalk. I would have had no problem with a draw,but Bivol hung himself by backing up constantly the last three rounds. Only Floyd could get away with fighting on the back foot.

In any case, even if he didnt say it it was evident when watching. I've been watching boxing a long time and watched this fight very closely. It was a very good fight.

Beterbiev also didn't say he didn't deserve it. He just acknowledged that it was close. As he has KO'd everyone and didn't KO Bivol that's understandable. His corner told him he needed a KO, but they're not judging - they're just trying to get the most out of their fighter - what are they supposed to say - "cruise, this is already wrapped up"?

I rewatched it. Bivol kinda decisively won 8 rounds so the outcome was wrong. No way he lost that.

I bet on Beterbiev to win as well lol. Oh well.

Hearn is becoming a pariah in boxing. Constantly degrading boxers, D riding Turki who’s paying all the bills, and constantly whining like a beech. It’s just a matter of time before some boxer says enough and slaps him in public. Matchroom fighters are losing at an alarming rate and Hearn should pay more attention to helping his fighters and less on running his mouth and degrading boxers he has no business with.

Bivol fought well, but he was on the back foot most of the night and fought in spurts. When he fought Canelo, he made sure to land twos & threes each time Alvarez landed ones. He didn't do that vs Beterbiev, because he was worried about what was coming back. People are complaining about the 116-112, scorecard and that's understandable, but even if it were more in line, Artur won the fight. Those who thought Bivol won should take a look at his face.

Watch it again, he definitely landed in twos and threes especially during the first 8 rounds. Did you actually watch the fight?
