I'm a fan of beterbiev chin. Beterbiev has been down in his career, so I wasn't sold on it totally, so that he didn't go down last night is surprising. Surely beterbiev chin is good, as some of the punches bivo l landed last night are same punches that have put people down and out for the count.
Maybe bivol too cautious? But that beterbiev saw final bell and didn't go down and even won points decision too. He did better than I thought he would

I still think Beterbiev is suspect. Atypical findings in his tests last year. Postponed his last 3 fights just to supposed injuries, illnesses etc. It has all the signs of someone cycling banned substances but you're innocent unless caught red handed and an atypical finding isn't sufficient. I know the fan boys won't ever admit it looks dodgy, but it does.
      One thing for certain

Bet looked like he had a good 15 pound edge over Biv

He has the bigger arms, torso, shoulders, neck, and head

Definitely suspect. But do we really think any of them are completely clean?

The definition of a clean athlete in boxing is someone who has never had a charge upheld. That's the low standard we're working with.

I don't get so hung up on it now. Beterbiev puts in the work to be in that condition at his age even if he's probably assisted in plenty of ways.

Pulled for Bivol and thought he squeaked it out or was a draw. Beterbiev has always been fun to watch so this fight didn't do much for either imho

A declining Beterbiev beat a prime and elite Bivol.

What was fascinating was Bivol fighting Beterbiev's fight because he couldn't negate the pressure other than moving away, only to find Artur in his face again 1 sec later... He ran 200 miles on the reverse gear but countered with some success at times. The fight was dictated from Beterbiev pressure from the get go even in the rounds won by Bivol... Bivol only got a free pass because of his over-par tight Defense... Props to him to stay up until the 12th round bell...

I like him as a fighter, I just expected Bivol to do enough to beat him clearly, which didn`t happen.
