Depends how you look at it. Are we not accounting for good defence? Surely judges have to consider that

You could say Beterbiev was wasteful, or Bivol defended well, hence Beterbiev landing at a much lower %, and being outlanded, meaning his aggression wasn't that effective afterall. Does higher work rate count as much when you're not landing at a higher % because your opponent is using skill not to let you?

That's why people say its subjective. However I think if you're being outlanded and landing at a much lower % then you haven't been that effective with your aggression. It's not that subjective to me.

Some rounds Bivol defended well and did good work, but Beterbiev was also landing in most of them. In as many as Bivol outlanded, there were others where he was clearly staying well out of reach for both boxers for too long. This counted against him with the judges. While he fought well a lot through the fight, I can appreciate their perspective. I actually had it 115-113 Beterbiev. Either way, it was def a close fight.

I don’t see a rematch being a different result unless Beter ages, as if Bivol doesn’t move he will be busted up. Even the blocked shots gave him black eyes. I would definitely watch a rematch if it happens, though, as they’re obv both great fighters.

Rematch bivol should win, age should catch up with beterbiev. Excellent fight hopefully morrell vs benavidez is a barn burner worthy of a rematch

He's said it after every fight.

He said it after the Browne fight and the Yarde fight too. You keep claiming things have never happened when they've happened multiple times.

Hell, this is just a one off interview last year

Beterbiev is just disappointed he didn`t win by a KO. It happens.

                Beterbiev said.

Dmitry is a world champion too. He has good skills, better than me, but today Allah chose me.”
