He needs to clinch more and disrupt beterbievs momentum.

If they rematch I may even put money on a Bivol stoppage. No way Bivol will lose a rematch.
Beterbiev was fresher at the end of the fight, despite being 8 years older.

        good eye

Biv isn't one for the clinches unless he hurt and it's necessary

More spoiling would have stopped Bet's momentum

I've been saying for years on here, and it typically falls on deaf ears, Beterbiev is nearly impossible to clinch. He uses tactics, more akin to amateur wrestling; when someone tries to clinch him they basically roll off of him. He did try a few times unsuccessfully. One time he clinched in the later rounds, but seemed like Artur allowed it to get a breather.

I recently found this video which does a far better job at explaining it than I could.

            bodyshots

            They both landed good body

but Bet had the venomous body shots

Biv backed up hurt once from a Bet body

I don't remember Bet being backed up by a Biv body

I think Bivol did as best as he can, but Arthur on the other hand can do better and he said it himself.

Bivol was hurt a few times to the body. But that’s also my point, wouldn’t matter how good his stamina is with Beterbiev punching your body. I thought Bivol’s stamina tonight was excellent. Nobody is going 12 looking fresh. Nobody had ever gone 12 at all…which is also why I think so many people are screaming robbery.

Disagree Artur gassed in the middle rounds after that round when he nearly stopped Bivol at the end ..

Jab more. He was excellent in first 3 when he threw the jab. He faded big time and didn't throw enough in 2nd half of the fight. If they rematch in ~9 months, Artur will be over 40, while Bivol will be just starting to exit his prime.

I thought he did enough to win, though I would say he tried stealing a few rounds towards the end instead of fighting the entire round. In training videos he appeared a little sluggish. Maybe work on his stamina a bit more and fight more of the entire round, not the last thirty seconds.
