But here is something you need to bear in mind: CompuBox don't score fights, they just record punch stats. And, according to CompuBox stats, GGG landed more clean punches in total than Canelo in 18 out 24 rounds over their first 2 fights.

That's why 9 out of 10 cats who watched those fights thought GGG won both. And the one cat who thought Canelo won them was blind.
How many of triple gifts punches were jabs???…How many of Canelo’s punches looked like this???…

GGGeezer looked like an amateur whenever Nelo was on the ropes
GGGave up throwing combos since Nelo eliminated his right hand.
Ineffective head hunting was Triple Flops game plan
The jab found its mark, doe

It doesn't matter how many of GGG's punches were jabs. All punches landed are scored the same, whether they are jabs, hooks, uppercuts, whatever. The only exception to this rule are punches that visibly hurt or stagger the opponent. And GGG and Canelo both have iron jaws, so neither was able to hurt or stun the other with anything they landed.

I'm not sure of the exact number but ones like this were regularly hitting the target

Power punches >>> jabs…Canelo would move g back with his power shots…

That was a weak jab to be honest…Canelo’s power shots were more impressive and moved gennady back…

You say all that but in the end Canelo was the one who was hurt twice: by a counter right hand in round 10 and two big right hooks in round 11.

Golovkin had his moments no doubt…but Canelo had more…and more head snapping power punches…that’s why he won the fight…Golovkin hit a lot of air…that was the first time triple g had to deal with someone who could stand up to his power…they both took each other’s shots…a fourth fight is needed…Canelo knocks him out…

Silencing the haters with his fists. Prove me wrong. GGG will be a first ballot HOF person. Bank on it.

There’s lesser fighters in there than him…so he’ll most definitely get in…it’s not sayin’ much these days though…people vote with their hearts more so than for a fighter’s skill and accomplishments…
