ggg did very good v prime canelo & u can argue what if anything his ages at 35 and 36 were a factor as well but ggg was still very good at that stage but he failed to dominate jacobs in a very close fight so styles make fights with guys who are all pretty good, ggg also didnt put any clauses on jacobs like the ginger did, ggg should have an official W v canelo in fight 1 tho, it really was a clear win for him in that one but judges and canelo go hand in hand unfortunately for him

Why wasn't his age a factor vs non Nelo opps ?

I mean you're free to call them what you want, but Murray was a very good fighter and multiple times fought for a title (drawing with Sturm on his home turf). Geale was a titlist as well as a very good fighter. I feel as if there is two classes of fighters in the eyes of many fans: ATG or bum/domestic level.

To each their own I guess.

I think age was clearly an issue against all opponents starting with Lemieux, it wasnt brought up because they were a step down from Canelo in ability and GGG was able to defeat them despite his age. Also, it wasn't brought up because GGG wasn't having the fight with them pushed back (marinated) while he grew further from his prime.
