I got hated on by the G fans when I said that G has a weak resume.. Honestly, I think Daniel Jacobs is his best win?

Mr. Gennady Golovkin (GGG) vs. The Ring Magazine Ranked Fighters. Gennady Golovkin, known as "GGG," had a dominant career at middleweight (160 lbs), holding multiple world titles from 2010 to 2019. He was the #1 ranked pound for pound man, During his peak (roughly 2012–2018), he was frequently ranked No. 1 in The Ring Magazine's middleweight division. His opponents were often carefully selected to build his record, but many were explicitly ranked in The Ring's top 10 at middleweight at the time of their fights. Based on historical Ring rankings from that era (sourced from Wikipedia fight reports, BoxRec, and Ring archives), GGG secured 9 wins against Ring-ranked middleweight fighters (top 10).This count focuses on:
        • Opponents ranked in The Ring's middleweight top 10 at the time of the fight.
        • Clear decision, KO, or TKO victories for GGG (excluding draws or losses).
GGG's overall record is 42–2–1 (37 KOs), but his resume is sometimes critiqued for lacking "signature" wins against all-time greats (e.g., he drew with Saul "Canelo" Álvarez in 2017, lost in the 2018 rematch. At least one decsion was a robbery. He methodically cleared out the division's contenders, with 23 straight KOs from 2008–2016.Key Wins Against Ring-Ranked FightersHere's a breakdown of those 9 victories, with the opponent's Ring ranking, fight outcome, and date:
        Grzegorz Proksa #10 TKO 5 Sep 1, 2012 European champ; GGG's U.S. TV debut.
Matthew Macklin #5 TKO 3 Jun 29, 2013 Body-shot KO elevated GGG to Ring #1.
Curtis Stevens #9 TKO 8 Nov 2, 2013 Aggressive brawler; corner stopped it.
Daniel Geale #4 TKO 3 Jul 26, 2014 Former IBF champ; GGG's jab set up KO.
Martin Murray #3 MD 12 Feb 21, 2015 Closest fight; GGG outlanded him 183–140.
David Lemieux #2 KO 8 Oct 17, 2015 Power-punching rematch of amateur clash.
Dominic Wade #6 TKO 2 Mar 5, 2016 Quick finish; Wade frozen by pressure.
        Ryota Murata #8 TKO 9 Apr 9, 2022 Late-career win; unified WBA/IBF titles.
Kamil Szeremeta #10 TKO 7 Dec 18, 2020 Mandatory defense; GGG broke him down.
        • Total Ring Top 10 Opponents Faced: 11 (including the 9 wins above, plus the 2017 draw vs. Canelo at #2 and a 2019 loss to Canelo at #1).
        • Non-Middleweight Ranked Wins: GGG also beat fighters like Kell Brook (#1 welterweight/super welterweight in 2016, TKO 5) and Steve Rolls (unranked), but these don't count toward middleweight titles.
        • Why This Matters: Clearing out 9 of 11 top-10s in a division shows dominance, but critics (e.g., Ryan Garcia in 2025 interviews) argue the era's middleweight field was "weak" compared to historical greats like Marvin Hagler. GGG's 88% KO rate and granite chin (never knocked down in 45 pro fights) substantiate his fearsome rep.
        • Career Highlights: 2x unified middleweight champ; The Ring's 2017 Fight of the Year (vs. Canelo I); inducted into discussions for Hall of Fame in 2025, and willl be a first nomination guy. A rare honor.

        Does that give some detail.?

He didn’t beat any hall of famers…the names on his res are truly laughable…triple g is not hall of fame worthy…he’s a coward that hid from Andre Ward and 168 until Canelo moved to 168…in short triple g was a a basic fighter on peds and a bum beater…

Of the names you listed, I have a 2 part question (and you can't include Nelo's name in the 1st one) -
                1) Which name are you impressed with, meaning, the outcome was never certain ?
                2) Would you be just as impressed had Nelo beaten that guy ?

No offense but excuses are for (unless proof in the form of unbiased links are provided).

Gatti's HOF resume is pure garbage.
