Has he even been that impressive?

Whittaker gets noticed for the showboating and the showboating he can only get away with because of his low standard of competition.

We'll see if he can back it up when he moves up the levels. Is he brave enough to do it against somebody who can punch?

'His team are doing the right thing with him slow and steady'

We're talking about someone who won a silver medal &, 2 years after turning pro, is nowhere near ready to fight for a British title. 'Slow & steady' doesn't begin to describe Whittaker's glacial pace towards serious fights. Here is the point, I don't mind showboating when it is someone like Prince Naseem, beating everyone & showing off, but Whittaker can't beat anyone, won't fight anyone, but persists in showing off against the journeymen brought in to give him rounds. That is why I loathe the man. He is a barely talented toe rag & when he fights Craig Richards, Lyndon Arthur, Dan Azeez or possibly even Shakan Pitters he will get KTFO.

We will see soon. He will be stepping up into serious leather flinging talent.

I dread the day Ben fights someone with a similar style to his. It will look like a B-Boy dance off.
