Both fighters are undefeated and they have always found the way to win - in different ways. One thing that stands out to me is this - there is only one truly ELITE, accomplished fighter on their combined resumes - Canelo Alavarez, love him or hate him. Joe Smith, Zurdo Ramirez, Marcus Browne or Gvozdyk are not even close to that level.
Good list. I will say the Joe Smith destruction is my favorite Beterbiev fight. There were some boxing "experts" giving Smith an upset prediction in that one, as Smith had the power to go toe to toe with Artur and Beterbiev was slipping. I was at a Buffalo Wild Wings with a friend of mine for that fight and I had the whole bar area totally into it. Beterbiev so answered those critics The Browne fight may be my 2nd favorite. That was a man in need of a beating.
The Canelo fight is #1 and should be. As someone who picked Bivol in that fight, it was a fun few days afterwards as the "I knew Bivol was gonna win all along" group grew and grew, almost by magic. Now, EVERYONE obviously picked Bivol.....
