This is the right attitude to have, in this stylistically diametric match up 'Maybe Anthony Joshua should of had this sort of attitude towards Daniel Dubois power. I don't think Joshua quite had the same level of respect for Dubois power, that Dimtri Bivol is showing here'.

As I have stated before in many of my previous posts, Dimtri Bivol is the slight favourite in this match up 'In a stylistic match up like this fight, where both styles of diametrically oppose to each other. Historically the fighter with Dimtri Bivol's style has been the winner in a series of fights'.

This has been proven throughout boxing history, in rivals such as Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier, and Jake LaMotta vs Sugar Ray Robinson 'Most of the the time, the pure skill for skill boxer in the clash of styles peak for peak, has been the dominant fighter over a series of fights'.

I believe both Dimtri Bivol and Arthur Beterbiev have the attribute's to beat each other, potentially they are each the most challenging and worst match up for their individual fighting styles.

But as many people are aware, in boxing there are attribute's which have the ability to equalize or almost completely cancel out another fighters abilities 'Ether immediately or over the duration of a fight'.

One of the most profound and impactful attributes which have this ability 'Is power, along with its closely related counter part brute strength'. Arthur Bivol in this match up, has by far the more superior power and brute strength, I don't think there are any current top level Light Heavyweight fighters who could duplicate his extreme level of power and brute strength 'Condensed into a 175 pound fighters physique, also with his endurance levels'.

This in my opinion would of been a tactical challenge for Dimtri Bivol and his team during preparation 'But I have pointed out, at this stage of the pre fight build up? This may be a ultimate determining factor in this match up'.

Note: It is very easy to envision a fight where Dimtri Bivol is winning rounds, and scoring points 'But it is not as easy to envision Bivol, inflicting heavy substantial damage upon Arthur Beterbiev. If he is in solid form equal to if not greater than his recent performances'.

In that style of fight, there just may be a impeding sense of doom and peril for Dimtri Bivol 'No matter how many rounds and points he is scoring'.

It will be like Mission Impossible for Dimtri Bivol, there may come a point in the fight 'Where his time is up, Beterbiev is still in the fight and not damaged to the extent his offense will be hindered ineffective. It is during this moment in my opinion, that the fight will be ultimately be won or lost for Dimtri Bivol. When he is encountering Beterbiev's power and brute strength more frequently during the rounds'.

To conclude: In all of Arthur Beterbiev's fights his opponent's have reached this point 'Nobody thus-far in his professional career, has been able to negate or survive his brute strength and power. When the fight turns into Arthur Beterbiev's preferred genre of action'.

Dimtri Bivol has to make the fight his genre, and not just be a member of the cast 'Bivol has to dictate the style of action, and for long as he can? Keep the fight in his domain. If Arthur Beterbiev is in solid form, this will be a difficult challenge. Bivol has many great attributes and skills, but historically he has never really shown World to Elite level power. And I believe this is one of the factors in this fight, which is why it is a close fight to call'.

Because if Dimtri Bivol was a known power puncher 'Then I think most people would agree? This fight would not be 50/50 fight, or a match up where Bivol is just a slight favourite. Bivol in that sort of match up, would be a much stronger favourite to win'.

It is a clash of Stylistic Boxing Archetypes, throughout the generation's of the sport peak for peak 'This fight between the Stylistic Boxing Archetypes has happened before, but different fighters have been playing the diametrically opposing fighting roles'. The classical pure boxer, vs the Classical Pressure fighter'.

On October 12th 2024, the contest between 'Dimtri Bivol vs Arthur Beterbiev, is a fight between Stylistic Boxing Archetypes and two diametrically opposing competitive forces. Both competitive boxing forces are destructive and dominant, but they are applied and express themselves differently inside the boxing ring. Systematic technical skill for skill destruction vs Potential Obliteration'.

Arthur Beterbiev has to overcome the biggest technically challenged in this fight in order to win, and Dimtri Bivol has to overcome the highest level of doom and potential peril to win 'The victor of this fight, would of overcome their most difficult stylistic challenge in their career to date' etc.

Beterbiev is a much better boxer than one dimensional Spence and he is not physically wrecked as Spence either. This is a 50/50 and intriguing fight IMO.

The reason was Canelo with his inflated ego figured he was the most skilled boxer on the face of the planet. Canelo thus misled himself into facing a better man than himself. I'm thinking Bivol beats Beterbiev, but to be hones Beterebiev would have destroyed Canelo.

          We will soon see.
What are you on about? Bivol has been calling out Beterbiev since 2019. Signed with Matchroom to get the fight, only for Beterbiev to leave Matchroom the same day. He's called Beterbiev out after every fight for 5 years. Bob Arum is on record saying he wasn't going to let Beterbiev fight Bivol. The ducking has been entirely on Beterbiev's side, although I doubt any of it was Artur himself.

I’m not forgetting that. Everybody gets rocked by Joe though. Joe smith got shut out 12-0. Bivol literally made him look like and infant. Bivol never been in a fight he was losing. Beterbiev even in several lately. I’ll make a bet with you in this fight

              What the hell, Lance!

In a dual-meaning response that follows Bivol being criticized by his wife, Kate, for depriving his two children of financial support, the fighter said, “Like in life, the hardest punch is the one you’re not expecting.”

What garbage piece of boxing journalism. Did you really think Bivol was also addressing the situation with his wife in this response? Can you read Bivol's mind? If he did, where in the interview did he say this? Can you provide a quote? Please do better.

A true 50/50 at least on paper, but when the fight is over, will it have been a close fight ? Beterbiev is not a just a puncher, he is a solid boxer with skill and cuts off the ring better than anyone in recent memory. I think the key for both fighters is to work the body. If Beterbiev works the body this will slow down Bivol movement and speed, if Bivol can work the body this will take away some of Beterbiev power. I kinda lean towards Bivol by dec or maybe even late tko.

So what? What was the end result?

Y'all talking as if keeping Beterbiev at bay is an easy thing to do lol. Yeah he's usually behind in cards at the beginning but they all end up suffocating not being able to keep up the pace. And you seem to forget one thing too: Smith Jr, Smith, Johnson, Yarde all punch harder than Bivol. Bivol doesn't have the power to keep Beterbiev off him. I can guarantee you that Arthur will happily take one to give one and this is bad news for Bivol.

Again, easier said than done. Of course this won't be his gameplan but he might not have any other choice at some point than to actually engage. I think many people here don't understand how good Beterbiev is at cutting the ring. He's not just gonna allow Bivol to fight at a comfortable range he's gonna be in his face all night.

                      1) Championship boxing matches go 12 rounds. Not 7
                      2) At what point was Callum Smith landing and doing well? He lost every round and got stopped.
