What he says about this fight has me very concerned. He is preparing to not get punched. He is preparing to go the distance. My very unfortunate official prediction at this point is that he wins on the scorecards after robbing us of excitement by taking away all vulnerabilities aside from the scorecards. If that happens, I will never forgive him because this is the most interesting matchup in recent memory

I don't think he cares if anyone forgives him or not. Not getting punched and going the distance is the only way he wins this fight. If he has Canelo and Beterbiev as wins on his resume he is instantly a legend and an ATG with millions in the bank. Who cares about approval from us chickens shooting the breeze on the forum.

I'm rooting for Bivol 10,000%. Ever since I saw him live at the Turning Stone Casino, I said to myself I'll never bet against him vs. anyone active today. And now that I see how disgusting his wife is, how she's using all of her energy to get in his head, airing their dirty laundry, and even slide in Beterbiev's DM to give him info on Bivol's previous injuries in hopes to see him beaten, instead of using all of her energy to raise their kids, it makes me hate her and all Russian women and makes me wanna see Bivol win even more. If that level of demonic, snake like mentality is common in Russian women, then no thank you. I hope she never gets a man again in life, or ends up with a man who is a drunk and super physically abusive. Bivol has to win and win decisively, in order to triumph over this evil woman with the demon energy

Funny. A few weeks ago I said Bivol would run and make it a ****ty fight. I was criticized by many and people even started predicting a Bivol KO. LOL.

Bivol has one shot. Move all fight and hope that he can land enough to beat Biev on points. Unfortunately this means the judges will score heavy on aggression and on who is trying to make it a fight.

Biev is a damn good boxer with sick power. He will hit Bivol and likely stop him. Gvozdyk was not "slower", he was a far bigger puncher then Bivol and he was probably a better boxer to be honest. The Canelo fans have turned Bivol into an all timer because he outboxed an overrated and undersized Canelo.

Bivol does not have the power to even keep Artur away. If Bivol runs he may win a boring UD, but even then he can lose due to not making it a fight.

The fact that Bivol is already showing fear makes me think this could be a quicker Biev KO than I thought. Possibly inside 5.

Right out of the gate Bivol has a good game plan, which means he has a good chance of success. Before Bivol, the only guy I thought had a good chance against Beterbiev was Gvozdyk and in the fight he was doing well and was ahead on the score cards until Beterbiev hurt him in the last couple of rounds and took him out. I recently read an interview on another site where Gvozdyk said

"Oleksandr Gvozdyk says it would be a good idea for Dmitry Bivol not to exchange punches with Artur Beterbiev on Saturday. He suggests that Bivol box and move the entire fight because Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) is too powerful and busy with his punches to get in a back-and-forth type of battle."

His mistake was he went after Beterbiev thinking he could hurt him and take him out like he did against Superman. Bivol is not so foolish which means he has a very good chance of boxing for 12 rounds and earning a UD. Of course, easier said then done, but if anybody can do it, Bivol is the man.

So . . . What you're saying is: he should go into a fight with one of the most dangerous boxer/punchers in the last decade, ditch everything he knows about boxing and the art of NOT GETTING HIT, ditch the fact that it's ARTUR BETERBIEV, and just swing for the fences?

Gvozdyk was possibly trying to even out the score with Beterbiev who beat him up and stopped him when Gvozdyk was a young up and coming amateur. Never a good idea to fight with emotion.
