I don't think he priced himself out of fighting Haney. I think the Haney's offered him something like 20 or 25%. I don't blame Shakur for turning that down, the least they could have offered him was 35%.

It's a pattern with Shakira so yeah I think so. The zepeda excuse is weak too but in the end it worked out cause now Saudi is interested so delaying it one fight benefitted both

I understand your point of view, but why wouldn't the Haney's offer Shakur 35% if they really wanted to make the fight happen?? I mean, 65% is still a big piece of the pie for someone who isn't as big of a name as Ryan or Tank....

Neither of those guys are big names. They don't put asses in seats so you can't be too upset the guy with the belts and better resume wants a bigger part of the pie.

Yes, but 65% is still a much bigger slice of the pie, 75 to 80% is practically all of the pie...
