I think the most expensive Latin Fury card was $35.
Bob says they do 200K, but as you know, there's no way to verify and Bob consistently inflates his nums.

Lets go back to Mayweather/Gatti. How many fights did Floyd have in the US? How many were on HBO? How many were on PPV prior to the Gatti fight? NOW, how many PPV's numbers did he do in his first PPV against Gatti? Compare Floyd's first PPV numbers against Gatti and Hatton's first PPV. And you all are saying Floyd carried that fight?

YET, he is the greatest PPV draw against established fighters.

Find me one quote where Manny himself has expressed an interest in fighting Mayweather and I can show you video were Shane let Mayweather know, not thru the press, but TO HIS FACE in front of MILLIONS of viewers he wanted to fight him.
So, because Manny is too classy (and not desperate enough) to interrupt a post-fight interview, he has to get in back of the line?
Future hall-of-famer Freddie Roach said People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao wants to meet Floyd Mayweather Jr. to settle once and for all who’s the real pound-for-pound king.
“Manny wants to fight the best and the Mayweather fight is the one he wants,”

“Mayweather has a lot of advantages,” Pacquiao said. “He is faster than Marquez and should be able to win. If he does, then I’d like to fight him, although that is down to my promotional team.”

And this is what you all accept from an "elite" fighter when he has basically avoided EVERY formidable opponent at welterweight? .....HILARIOUS

Floyd fans want to see a fight with Manny because it will generate money, none of which they will spend, not because it is competitive. THATS the shame in all of this.
floyd fans want to see the manny-pacquiao fight, not b/c of the money involved...like you said, none of us spend it. i don't argue the money aspects of fights, b/c i could give a **** less....honestly, none of it makes it to my pockets...
HOWEVER, when understanding the rationale of WHY some fights happen and others don't, and why certain fights happen at certain times, it would be foolish NOT to look at the money aspect....
it is wrong to label floyd fans with being concerned about his money, because as a fan myself, i understand the dude wants the biggest money fights out there, and i understand he believes he is the main attraction in boxing, and bottom line is, the pacman fight WON'T happen if pacman and top rank insist on an even split, or a bigger split for manny. don't get it confused about ppl arguing about who should get what, with them being "concerned" about who is getting what. bottom line is, like i said, fights get made based on the projections of what they will earn....until you guys understand the business aspect of the fight game, you'll forever be in the dark as to why some fights are made and others aren't.
I love it how you dudes insist many will be perfectly fine taking on shane or many instead of floyd. Bottom line, when the pacman-cotto negotiations were hitting snags, shane basically did everything but say he’d suck manny’s **** in order to get the fight made….from accepting a 35-65 split, to coming all the way down to 140 lbs. The answer was no….marquez has been chasing many down since their second fight, and many has expressed no interest in fighting him either….so how all of a sudden will that all change?
Fact is, BOTH those guys offer many little reward/ high risk for the stage of his career he’s in now. They need him for big fights, many doesn’t need them. The mayweather fight is the biggest one out there, and it happens whether you like it or not….but only happens, if mayweather gets a bigger cut.
