There were many that believed Gatti would beat Floyd including Gatti himself and my best friend at the time who lost a bet to me on the fight!!!...At no point in time or history would Gatti have been able to hang with Floyd!!!...Same outcome everytime!!!...100 out of 100!!!...Ha!!!...

With all due respect, nobody and I mean nobody that knows boxing ever believed that Gatti would beat Floyd. On top of that, by the time he fought Floyd, he was pretty much done in the sport. Oscar had beaten the crap out of him years before, he had 3 rock em sock em bouts with Ward. Gatti was a walking punching bag. He was a very likable guy, always entertaining, but couldn't avoid punches to save his life.

A very limited fighter with a big fan base in the East Coast due to his entertaining style. As a boxing fan, I knew his fights would be entertaining but no way did I believe that he'd have a chance at beating Floyd
