BoxRec? I looked up the independent rankings for each fight in his career, genius. It has nothing to do with BoxRec, the TBRB is a board of 50 unaffiliated boxing journalists and was founded by the former editorial staff of The Ring after an exodus when Oscar De La Hoya decided to tank their credibility. They are the only source of boxing rankings out there that is not affiliated with any promoter, network, or governing body.

The win over Postol was absolutely fantastic.
The win over Spence was absolutely fantastic.
The win over Madrimov was fantastic and I expect it to age well.
The win over Burns, who was his step up fight and a reigning and former AND future world titlist in 3 different weight divisions, was fantastic.
The win over Beltran proved to age quite well as he won his next 6 fights and a world title.

People are mostly mad because Indongo's career was completely destroyed by Crawford and he looked awful after Bud took his belts. Boo hoo, that's one of 15 legitimate wins on his resume.

Being a three division lineal champion proves greatness. Period. You can try to say they were weak divisions but there are always weak divisions somewhere in the sport and it's been around for over 100 years. If it were possible to cherrypick your way to being a three division lineal world champion the list of men to do it would be much longer than Fitzsimmons, Ross, Armstrong, Canzoneri, Leonard, De La Hoya, Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Crawford.

You people are really going to melt down when he becomes lineal at 154. Only Mayweather and Pac have ever been a four division lineal champion.

he's garbage. every fighter currently in the sport is total trash. mayweather is really the only good fighter of the last 30 years. the talent in this sport is so non-existent that 80 year old bernard hopkins was competing in and winning title fights.

here's one for you guys. inoue. who has this clown beaten besides an ancient nonito donaire? who has donaire beaten....god damn vic darchinyan and that's about it.

outside of the 70s, 80s, and mayweather...there has never been anyone worthwhile in this sport. if sugar ray robinson was fighting today, he would be alfonso gomez level.

we have this "big" undisputed fight with beterbiev and bivol. between the 2 of them there's 1 notable name and that's canelo...who should have about 8 losses. i don't even bother watching the fights anymore because it's so disappointing. that one is at least a 50/50 fight, might tune in for that

crawford LOL, and even bigger LOL that people thought that bum spence was going to win or be competitive. nash out

Do you think you can just cherry pick your way to being a 3 division lineal champion? If it were that easy there'd be more than nine men in the history of the sport to do it.
Doesn't change the fact that this is a weak resume in comparison to other eras.

Maybe it isn't all his fault, but it is what it is.

Compared to whom in other eras? Sure, you can find some guys who fought better names. But not that many, and certainly not many that were undefeated multi-division lineal kings.

He's not in the conversation for GOAT or anything but his resume is still easily HOF worthy and far beyond most other guys in this era. Inoue and Usyk are his main contemporaries and they're both surefire HOF guys too.

There should be an asterisk next to his name if he gets into the HOF

Nobody cares about what a fighter did 8-10 years ago.

Postal lost almost every fight after Crawford. Exposed.
Indongo lost almost every fight. Another hype job exposed.
Burns should have lost to a journeyman beltran the fight before crawford beat him, it was unanimously viewed as a robbery.

Madrimov is a nobody with 11 fights, yet being pumped up as elite now lol.
                  Spence was shot to pieces.

Beltran is a journeyman who win a vacant title over a 40 year old can.. aged well? lmao.

clearly not as good as the hype train has made him out to be recently.
