Hes definitely a handful but I thought Ford beat him by a round. But then I thought he best Vargas but only got a draw.

He's a good relentless little fighter but someome will chin him or completely outbox him. Ball sometimes loses large early parts of fights, at some point he won't get out of that hole.

Inoue would smoke him. I think that division is about Inoue's limit but he's on a much higher level to Ball and would do a job on him.

Ball reminds me of a slightly more polished Josh Warrington with more power. He will get chinned soon because his attacks are basic and crude.

It's clear on this thread that a lot of Yankee doodles just don't like British fighters. Get over yourself Yankee doodles. I see the same touch of racism from the Yankee boys when it comes to articles about Canelo.

"Yankee Doodles" isn't bad if you want to insult Americans - I'm not offended.
It kinda sounds like a brand of snack food.
For the record, many of us Americans appreciate good fighters regardless of national origin.

Really? Huh... Nice to know Americans are just like every other nationality then

He’s a KO waiting to happen but he’s exciting asf.

Gas tank is insane, throws a million punches and decent pop.

I like Nick Ball. Inoue has a lot of stiff competition to beat before he's going to be ready to move up. We'll see how much Ball can evolve by then. Hard to say whether Inoue's power will carry another division, and Ball looks to have quite a chin.

U can very well disagee but I will bet 5k Naoya ko him and relatively easy too! He get's hit way to much plus this guy was their to be hit, Naoya is a boxer/puncher with lots of pop and good balance, easy work!

Agreed. However i think Rios' body work was taking effect. Ball seemed to wear himself out a bit after the kd, trying to turn it into a ko, but I thought he read that wrong and should have kept at pace. He was still standing between rounds, which looks fresh, but a few rounds of solid bodyshots were slowing him down and zapping that power.

I thought it was a good strategy from Rios, and he had heart, but it just wasn't enough to overcome Ball's drive.
