  • Comments Thread For: If it's not Conor McGregor, who's next for Terence Crawford?

Terence Crawford seems to have a single-minded pursuit of Canelo Alvarez in progress for now, but the pound-for-pound elite and unbeaten four-division champion is finding it hard to deny that he, too, is being targeted.

He should fight Fundora and then the Tszyu/Murtazaliev winner, then decide what he wants to do from there:
    -retire
-go to 160 and take on Lara
-keep chasing that Canelo cash out

I’d put usyk p4p above Crawford based on resume/achievements

In saying that, there careers are still going, so it’s unfinished race

He most likely will fight Fundora. And probably Wins in a tough fight.
however a fight with Tszyu is a different story,
Bud would be 38 by that time. I am not saying that Tszyu is better than Crawford but his age and long periods of inactivity will be his undoing and I see Tszyu stopping Crawford in the later rounds. He then Retires

Big ole lanky Fundora, as fun & full of heart as he is, has got zero for an inactive 38 year old Terence Crawford. Go ahead, take it to the bank.

Just off the headline, this feels like a bn24 Brun article.
                  One word, Fundora.

Truth is Crawford blew it when he struggled as a massive favourite at light middle last time out .It was always dodgy calling out the much bigger and stronger Canelo who was in a no win situation facing little Bud and has much better fights up there at his own weight. Talk of Conor Mc. is a sad state of affairs and as a admirer of Bud for ten plus years I'm becoming a little bored now!
