LOS ANGELES - Bernard Hopkins is cut from a different cloth and is old school through and through. The Philadelphia-bred Hall of Fame fighter served nearly five years in jail before turning pro in 1988, winning titles in two weight classes throughout his career and becoming boxing history's oldest belt-holder at 49 while fighting until he was 51.

Devin looks weak and it also makes Bill look weak. It's a very bad look for a father to encourage this, especially being from Oakland.

Not the biggest Hopkins fan, but he's made a good synopsis here. This haney needs to
grow up and learn how to move on. Do the rematch when the time comes. Don't keep whining.

As much as I dislike Ryan Garcia, he would whip Haney just the same. Devin wants no parts of a rematch.

Definitely looks weak from Haney... it's unwritten that fighters fight, not sue. But then what do you do against a guy like Garcia? He doesn't care - he'll do what he does. He's not going to follow rules whether they're written or unwritten.

I think the answer is that you just don't fight him. Not because he's dangerous but because he shouldn't be licenced.

So you can't settle it in the ring with a guy who could be on anything come fight night. None of us would have the slightest confidence in getting a clean Garcia.

The story is really still Garcia. He's got talent and he's got appeal. And he's wasting it all.

This comes as no surprise from the Haney's , as Hopkins say's a fighter gets hammered , then sues his opponent , granted it's not that straight forward but I do agree massively with Hopkins that it's far from a great look!... Move on Haney's as many are laughing at you , you just don't see it.

I'm probably in the minority in supporting the Haneys. I hope they get millions from Garcia. Forget this fighter/Street rubbish.
If it hits Garcia in the pocket, maybe other fighters will think twice before doping. We all want a clean sport don't we?

I'm torn on this one! Yeah, it's extra, but this generation is extra! Then again, how do you really punish someone for cheating you, and could've done serious damage to your career, by using illegal substances??? If I was Bill Haney, I would solve this in the streets, instead of court!
