Nothing you said is completely false, but on the 1st two points, PBC controls their fighters careers & tells them who to fight and who to avoid. But Wilder and Spence both were terrific fighters and in their primes would put most men their size to sleep. So they're not what I would call pretenders, just strategically being moved by the powers that be, and they were ok with that situation. Wilder facing Fury turned out to be a big miscalculation, a bad chess move. To Errol's credit, he promised to give Bud a fight and he did. It didn't go his way, but Errol definitely ain't no pretender in that ring. He broke bones of many opponents, ribs, eye sockets, cheekbones, etc. As for Haney, he's stale and not improving but he has lot of potential because he is skilled and does have a great work ethic. He just needs someone who can improve his skills, and clearly, i's not Bill.
I remember that they had offered him a aj fight but he instead chose to fight fury
Spence whole think was good match making and being a weight bully guys came from like 160 or 154 before moving to welterweight kinda a hype job to me
with Haney I agree he is not as good as people said or thought and his dad never boxed
his dad is pretty annoying and not doing Haney any favors
