Shawn Porter, Lucian Bute, and Mikey Garcia!?!?!? Weak year. I would prefer past fighters like Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, or Julian Jackson finally get in.

The standards are seemingly a lot lower these days so I could definitely see him getting in. Think he was IBF not WBA at 140, beat Lipinets if I remember correctly.

Mikey could have achieved a lot more IMO, he seemingly lost motivation after all the legal drama with TR.

Yeah, you're correct, it was the IBF/TBRB for Lipinets at 140 and not the WBA.

I just wish he would've fought Lomachenko instead of moving up for Spence. But I think the bad blood with Arum is probably the root of why that didn't happen.

Yeah me too, he should’ve stayed at 135 but decided to chase the bigger paydays in the divisions above.

I don't mind the detour to 140 since he returned to 135 and unified with Easter afterwards anyway. And the TBRB title at 140 is in my opinion his best accomplishment.

147 was just dumb, though. Especially against Spence.

I think that Pacquiao is a first ballot Hall of Famer. I don't understand how Garcia, Porter and Bute got in or were even nominated for the Hall of Fame. They seemed to be letting anyone in the HOF these days. The standards have certainly gotten lower. Even to have their names mentioned is disrespectful to true Hall of Famers.

                  Pacquiao should be unanimous.

Dude's probably the only person in our lifetime who'll ever go from 108-154 winning titles.

I know a lot of people will disagree, but I'd vote for Shawn Porter, too.

To me, he should be honored for the same reason Arturo Gatti was.

He never cheated the public & always brought the smoke in an era of shameless ducking.

He fought everybody in his generation he was supposed to fight & to me, should've been at least been given the nod over Keith Thurman.

Garcia won titles in four divisions including a Ring belt in one division, a TBRB championship in another, and he unified in yet another division. I understand if you feel he didn't beat enough great fighters to get into the HOF, but at the very least you should admit he warrants consideration.

Bute and Porter, no, not at all.

Pacquiao is a no brainer. Guys a legend of boxing so ofc first year of eligibility he should be inducted. I think Mikey Garcia should be in aswell. There's certain people in the hall of fame who didn't accomplish as much as Mikey but I can understand when people say he doesn't have them established names on his record that other hall of famers have had on there.

Bute I don't think should be in because he beat alot of older faded fighters or C level fighters when he was champion and when he stepped up he got beat every time. Porter aswell maybe not but he's respected in boxing circles especially in America so probably why he's getting the nod aswell
