There's a reason Tank and Canelo don't participate in events with Turki

We don't know who Tank can't beat because he won't fight them. For one he could try fighting Shakur, Teofimo, Valenzuela, Barcynck, am sure one of them is available and more palatable than a Roach. We saw the same thing when he was with Mayweather and the trend continues with PBC and the only common denominator here is Tank and his coach. Even if promoters wants to make a great fight, if said named/popular fighter isn't interested, it won't happen. The fighter has to want it and it's clear as day he doesn't want that smoke so Tank is squarely to blame here. This PPV just need to be boycotted and tank massively to send a message from the fans.

Fighters should try to stay active and champs allowed to take potentially "easier" fights. But this fight isn't a ppv level fight

I like Tanks skills and rate him as a fighter but its obvious he's just a show pony. They just match him with run of the mill B+ fighters and sell off the fact he might knock them tf out. Its just a cheap version of the young Iron Mike when he was steam rolling cab drivers as a kid because it didn't matter who he was fighting it was about the violent knockout they come to see.

Tank won't fight any of the best until PBC consider him ready to cash in

Loma nixed it. And after Loma's performance against Haney and Kambosos, two younger guys, Loma looked anything but old. And damn near beat the younger Haney. No one is saying Tank is not to blame for a lot, and fighting Roach is not a good move, as I said more than once, many fighters that are better than Roach to pick from.
Who wants to see Loma fight tank NOW? Except a bunch of tank CASUALS. Too late.
I wanted to see tank fight Loma 5 FKN YEARS AGO!!. You know, BEFORE Teo Fought Loma.

It was STILL one of the top fights to make this year, a hell of a lot of non-casuals, true boxing fans on these boards discussed the fight for weeks. Then Loma walked.

The problem is management and opponent selections, they want the easy high paying jobs, all fighters go through this same BS when they on top, the way I see Tank is he has only a handful of fights left so should fight the best opponents in the world at this stage of his career, haters are always using this stuff to hate on the fighter, I hate crap opponents as much as the next guy but its doesnt change the class of fighter that Tank is.

Thank you for your feedback! Neither fight is ideal to me. But your sentiments are matched by a majority of people surveyed by Matt of Brunch Boxing (see image below).

I do know that Berinchyk was expecting to face Mark Chamberlain later in the year until Chamberlain lost to Josh Padley the other week. My belief is that Berinchyk was unavailable given that fight being in the works, and by the time Chamberlain lost, the Roach fight was already deep into negotiations.
