Tank as I've said is far from blameless in his opponent selections, but the fact is, I blame Loma for the Tank fight because he backed out of a fight that was deep in the negotiations. Choosing Roach over some genuinely solid lightweights is a ridiculous move by Tank.

Garry Jonas' Boxing Scene has lately written hit pieces about Turki and PR "articles" regarding PBC.
Garry Jonas and PBC teaming up against Turki?

Who is the best, the guy Tank cant beat? Ive been on boxing 50 yrs I know when Im looking at a real fighter no matter who they fight, I wish he would fight the top 3 guys I hate how promoters nursemaid great fighters effectively stifling their careers, Tank is a racehorse they need to let the reins go for crying out loud.

I hate crap opponents as much as the next guy but its doesnt change the class of fighter that Tank is.
This right here is what makes it so frustrating.
The easiest and most obvious remedy available to all of us:
              STOP BUYING BS PPV EVENTS
This is only free markets in action. Make wise choices and let the markets set the producers' prices.
It's not hard and it's not rocket science.

It's not as if Davis has no say in all this.
Yeah, the promotion machines are a problem but ultimately Davis and others like him can pursue true greatness if they really want to.
                  Does Davis want that?

I've written for this website since 2004, not too long after its launch. Nobody has ever told me what to write or how to write it, up to and including this article.
