Not excusing him, but if he can, it would be neat if Gervonta Davis could went down to 130. That way he does get a degree of credit.

But moving Hector Luis Garcia and then Lamont Roach is not a good look, Canelo did the same shamelessly with GGG in the third bout and Jermell Charlo but considering Davis is doing it in his physical prime makes it worse somehow.

Edit: Well rethinking it, is it worse? GGG was 40 years old and Charlo was from 154. At least HLG and Roach are still in their physical prime, still these type of unfair match ups shouldn't be encouraged.

His best win is Pedraza FFS and he's fast approaching his 30s...

It's mad because based on his ability he's arguably one of the best fighters in the world but he has the self belief of a journeyman.
