Teo has shown that he looks average against average fighters BUT against elite. HE SHOWS HES ELITE. Not a smart fight for either OLD Crawford or psychiatrically damaged Haney.
I will say that Haney would give him a harder time.

Even if Crawford has slowed down. He still has that elite timing – he would walk Teo onto a big one. I'd bet £££ on that. But the fight will never happen, Crawford is too high up in weight for them now.

if teo WANTED bud he would have just gone to 147 instead of 'offering' a dumb catchweight which he knew would not and could not be accepted, hes just a spoofer, i mean all the spoof he made up after the taylor win making it out he was some double undisputed guy when 1 title was on the line i think, pure embarrassing stuff & the boasting hes done over the years is just unreal, u would think hes never had a close fight let alone a bad L and quite likely robbery calls as well

Teo is such a HUGE star, he probably thinks he can get Crawford to agree to a catch weight and rehydration clause lol. Also, he'd like the fight on a Thursday night on ESPN.

Teo not on Crawford's level, in the opinion of many. Not to say he couldn't pull something off, but Crawford has passed every test.

Bud would help Teo in a couple very needed ways if they ever fought.
1. A much needed reshaped head for Teo
2. Full orthodontic enhancements, free charges.

I don't know exactly why Teo won't fight him. It's undeniable Haney has been calling him out right in front of his face. The Lopezes just probably and naturally don't like his aggressive style of begging for the fight. Even Turki's money won't make Lopez fight Haney, if reports are true. So it's not just about money. Maybe the Lopez father and son team just don't like being dictated and prefer to do it the other way around.

Question is why can't Haney take stay-busy fights like the Sandor Martin mandatory? There's Puello, Matias, Jamaine, Taylor, Commey, Nakatani, Ramirez, etc.? Teo and Loma took some of those guys without issues in between big fights. Why can't he?

I would imagine it's because anyone who catches him with a left hook has a decent chance of dropping him now that the secret is out and he doesn't want to take a chance of losing in a small check stay busy fight.

Good question. Like the previous poster said, he's afraid to lose to high-risk low reward ones. This is nothing new. It's no different from Jermell taking an escape route to the Canelo fight to avoid Tim Tszyu. All the while Charlo was making his hand injury an excuse to stall his mando with Tim. And he promised to come back for the active Australian fighter after the money grab fight. He never came back and still not sure if he's coming back.

Somebody is lying. Haney says it publicly they offered the fight to Teo and it was turned down. Teo's dad says Devin will not fight him. It could be they a both lying a little bit. What is becoming clear is they both want the maximum money for the easiest fights they can get. That is why the fights we all want to see are not getting made. They have all become gun shy the first time they lost a fight and the air of invincibility was gone.
