I wanted to like Mayer when she first kicked off her professional career but she quickly came across a bit arrogant and entitled sounding. She never seems to hold herself accountable for her poor performances.

"(T)hrilling majority decision victory" is insane.

That's my girl ! I like Mikaela , she can fight. Before boxing she fought Muay Thai. She came up the hard way. Even her two losses. were highly debatable and the one against Jonas was a straight up rip off. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of this fight after she picks up the rest of the belts.

What poor performances ? She beat Jonas and the Baumgartner fight was really close. She just got outworked.

You and I are going to have agree to disagree. She didn't let her hands go in the Baumgardner fight. As for the Jonas fight, Mayer didn't seem upset when the judges filled out their scorecards before the Hamadouche fight. In a fight that could have gone either way, I think Maiva won a total of one round on one judges card.

Alot of fighters come up the hard way but Mayer has had ESPN/TR backing from the start of her career. She has some nice skills but I have never liked her attitude.

That fight with Hamadouche was fire , probably the best chick fight that I've seen , they went to war. That chick is a Timex.
