Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua still with Mike Tyson and Wladimir Klitschko in two-time club

To many, Anthony Joshua's unsuccessful attempt at becoming a three-time heavyweight belt-holder should force the English fighter into early retirement.

At age 35, does he still have what it takes to become a 3x Heavyweight Champion?

I think his days are over. He's been in heaps of wars as well, that is a lot of mileage in him.

      Exactly.

You appear to have caught how the writer tried to sneak in the term "early retirement" as if no-one would notice loooool.

Before anyone tries it.... even with bleeding-edge modern science 37, 38, 56 etc are ANCIENT ages to be fighting pro bouts & 35 is NOT young to retire from doing so.

He needs to hire Rob, LISTEN to him, get rid of his prima-donna behaviour and of his yesmen arselickers.

The difference being Tyson & Wlad boxed everyone, not that Wlad had much of a pool to beat. Aj has hardly faced let alone beaten a prime elite heavyweight & is only 2 time's because of rematchroom clauses made pre fight, alway's gotta have a parachute. Ruiz wanted to undespute with Wilder, a fight Aj with Eddie ducked & told us to wait 2 year's.

joshua was never lineal or undisputed. him and fury never fought in their primes. maybe they will fight well past their prime in a brooks-khan-esque retirement cash out fight.

Just forget how AJ ran across the Sahara to do No 2. You know. 24+ foot ring in a purpose built tent and bone saw associates. This might even be the plan for the Dboi rematch
