Daggum will be here to tell you how Povetkin and Chagaev were SO MUCH BETTER, than the flunkies Wilder, Fury and others faced... But you are absolutely right. The truth is AJ drew from he same well as others, and beat similar competition. He never really did anything beyond what a fighter like Frank Bruno did.Last edited by daggum; 09-28-2024, 04:59 PM.Comment

Comparing Joshua's resume to Wilders is the definition of false equivalency. They all s-ucked argument never holds any water and is used to defend cherry pickers to pretend bums are the same as contender. Joshua 8 top 10 wins to Wilders 2 and with better quality wins. If it was so easy...Wilder would have done it. Joshua doesn't compare to Ali but wilder doesn't compare to Joshua. There are levels of accomplishment in this sport. It's not all the same.Comment

Brings up the philosophical issue of whether Joshua is responsible for what he said if he will never be able to recall saying it.Comment

In the old early days of boxing, a loss didnt make fans say a guy should retire. Because guys fought hundreds of fights so a knockout loss was nothing. Guys today fight 20 something times and its an entire career. So one loss is a big talking point amongst fans and the public. AJ, ignore the noise, dust yourself off and get back in the gym. Fight again and again. You're young. You got your bell rung, big deal. Focus on improvement and come back strongerComment

Dubois rematch or retire. If comes back to stop Dubois in the rematch, he can at least retire knowing he's improved in rematch results three times. He can't beat Fury or Usyk and a Wilder fight is pointless with no belts at stake. I'd love to see Parker get his shot at Dubois. I'd also like to see Zhang vs. Bakole in a title eliminator.Comment
