just like quintana couldn't last 5 against cotto... oh wait, wasn't quintana the one who beat williams?

Pavlik had enough skills to take out taylor, who's a pretty good boxer in his own rights. And Quintana wasn't boxing the **** outta Cotto, get real. They were at each other good, yeah, but Cotto was clearly outclassing him. Pwill is good, I never said he wasn't, and all I said was I don't think he can handle Pavlik's power, which is more than anything he's faced so far. Nothing "******ed" about that.

He beat him once yep. The Paul destroyed him and made him contemplate retirement. Besides apples to oranges. Cotto would NEVER be able to do what Quintana was able to do once in his life when Paul fought the worst fight of his life. That was his fault, but he totally phoned in that fight. I could give another hundred excuses why Paul lost, but I won't.

I'm a Cotto fan but definitely dislike Margarita. Anyway, I'm rootin' for P-Will , but I think pasty @ss is gonna take it, either by ko between 7-12 round or a UD.

yet that would be all they are: excuses

quintana fought the perfect fight and made him look like an amateur at times. the funny thing is, williams didn't make excuses, yet you have a hundred

Your reasoning for why he wouldn't be able to handle Pavlik's power was ****** and you brought up Quintana to back up your argument which was completely irrelevant which is why I took exception. Paul is more skilled than Pavlik in every way. If you want to argue that Pavlik's power is too much that's fine, but don't bring up bull**** like the Quintana fight.

Williams clearly said at the end of the fight that he didn't have his rhythm for some reason. If you've seen Williams enough, you know that that was obviously true. It was a bad night nothing else.

I only brought it up, because a loss is a loss, regardless of how many skills Pwill brought to the table. A bad night? Maybe..A sign that a more powerful puncher could nullify his skills like a lesser puncher did..Definitely. You may be the baddest mother ****er on earth, but when your momentum is met with an opposing force coming in with incredible power, you skillz aint ****.

of course he said that. he didn't have his rhythm because quintana MADE him fight at his own. i don't know what's so hard to get about that

When a fighter moves up in weight the most commonly asked question is will he bring his strength with him ? We all know Williams isn't known for knocking guys out but for his work rate. Pavlick on the other hand is known for both work rate and power. With this said I see Pavlick winning a close fight. Williams won't be able to nulify Pavlick's power except by holding and grabbing. This fight might be ugly. I'm rooting for Williams but I don't see him winning.
