He never wanted the rematch, but PBC forced him into it which he couldn't do anything about. Thing is Valenzuela is PBC's full-pledged fighter. You could tell by seeing Sam Watson standing beside him in his fights. He's PBC's main fighter in the De Los Santos debacle. So it is what it is. The Colbert's rematch with Rayo was simply unavoidable. He should have signed with other promoters or fought on Probox TV.
