From a sporting perspective there’s absolutely no reason for a Dubois-Joshua rematch.

Good point tbf, didn’t think of it that way.
I'd be surprised if Turki gives the green light on the fight though.

He seems to prefer competitve events, except the odd crossover. I can't imagine he watched that on Saturday, being a one sided domination and have any desire put it on again.

Unless AJ is utterly hell bent on the rematch and Turki does him a favour, I'm guessing we don't see it.

How about Dubois - Fury? It is huge if Fury beats Usyk in a rematch and it is still big if Fury loses to Usyk again.

Warren just got a big inhouse fight.

      He also has Zhang there.

Yeah I think Dubois gets the Usyk-Fury winner. Got a horrible feeling AJ-Wilder gets explored too. That’s at Rios-Ortiz or Juanma-Gamboa level at this point.

          I reckon so.

They'll talk about the Dubois rematch for a few weeks, but they have to don't they? Once the news dies down, they'll give it a swerve and look at someone like Wilder.

Eddie was asked about the Wilder fight by IFL in an interview that was just uploaded. His eyes lit up I reckon there's a very good chance.

Of course theres no reason. But for better or worse the commercial perspective overrides the sporting perspective.

I dont think AJ deserves a rematch at all, but looking on the bright side, it means we will get another big night of boxing.

Agreed mate. It’s an easy cash grab for both and it’s not like there’s any other big name who they could realistically beat.
