From a sporting perspective there’s absolutely no reason for a Dubois-Joshua rematch.

You could say the same about Wilder-Zhang. Or any HW with power for that matter.

Yeah he’s absolutely washed. That’s essentially my point.

I’m certainly in the minority, but I do want to see an immediate rematch, and I also think AJ can win it.

Not at all. Hagler-Hearns was a competitive fight. Dubois-AJ was not competitive in the slightest.
Off the top of your head can you think of any rematches that took place when first fight wasn't close, but was entertaining enough to justify going again?

Fury-Wilder 3 but you had fight 1 as a selling point and Wilder had a clause as champion.

Roy-B-Hop 2 as well but that was like 17 years after and bit of a farce tbh.

Was pac v barrera first fight close? Pac won convincingly but it was entertaining enough to warrant seeing it again I guess?

Nah Pacquiao gave him a beating, especially late on anyway.

AJ put Ruiz down tbf. That was a competitive fight up until AJ got tagged.
