      canelo is a con job.
He's not a coward or con job for not fighting Beterviev, he'd be a fool to fight him. These guys at 175 are much bigger than Ginger. Can he beat some of the guys at 175? He sure can, but not the elites at that weight. He'd be smart to fight his last few fights at 168.

Alvarez has a shot against Beter

but no chance against Bivol who is an awful style for him: excellent jab master mover with speed to top it all off

if I was Alvarez and Beter wins a HARD fight against Bivol, I’d be enthusiastic about fighting Beter

I disagree, Beterviev's punching power and durability will be too difficult to overcome, as an amateur he was a cruiserweight competing with the likes of Usyk, he just has the right frame to cut down to 175.

Alvarez also tires relatively quickly now and doesn't get second wind, even if he gets a great camp, I doubt he have enough conditioning to compete with him at this stage of his career. It was even quite questionable during his run where he fought Saunders and Plant. He has the right style and qualities, just not sufficient reach and ability to pull it off. He is 1-1 at light heavyweight, against a worn down Kovalev and a prime Bivol.

Also tired of Canelo's zealots defending him with ass kissing arguments like "he can what he wants because he fought who he fought in the past" or "he is a small fighters fighting giants" as if he doesn't have to fight top rated fighters to be rated as a top fighter himself at the present time, and his frame had acclimated to 168 just fine, when he moved up to the division, none of the champions were considered big punchers, the one with the most punching power was Benavidez and even then he is a volume fighter that breaks down his opponents through accumulation. Too bad Canelo actively tries to avoid a fight with him.

Bivol is a relatively light framed for a light heavyweight, Alvarez looks just as big as the guy however.

A solid argument is that Canelo can choose what division he wants to compete at like any professional boxer, if he can actively healthily compete at 168 while fighting top challenger or former champions from said division, he has no obligation to fight Beterviev where he competes at.
