The world changes. Boxing as a sport is having a nice resurgence. There is ton of streaming services in need of content, and while I do not particularly like the Saudi involvement, I cannot argue facts. It has been good for the sport.
I cannot imagine a world where boxing is not a part of the Olympics, but honestly if the financial and administrative backing is not there, I suppose the world will keep turning and pro boxing will give us a ton of things to argue about. I did not watch any of the last Olympics, and boxing was hard to find on it when I looked despite there being like 6 channels on my Hulu dedicated to coverage.
To paraphrase the Hall of Fame worthy boxer Ivan Drago: "If it dies, it dies."
