Dubois is becoming the future...and we need to look forward rather than backward. Beating Parker would addd nothing to his legacy....it would just be the continuation of cleaning out the old guard.
Parker is only 32 and Joshua was never in form.

AJ had 6 soft rounds against his sparring partner and 2 softer rounds in 2 years against an MMA guy who had no business being in the ring.

AJ most recently ducked Wilder, Parker, Zhang and Hrgovic only to be left with the one guy he should have ducked.

All that cherrypicking and A-side smoke Fast Eddie was blowing up Joshua and his fans asses was just that.

    Parker is LEGIT!!!

Is this the same Parker that went life and death with leadfoot Joyce. I'm an aussie and im not in any way fooled by another smoke and mirrors act in Parker.

Oh sure he exposed Big Mak and the Cuban Flash as pretenders but Parker shut out and ended Wilders career then derailed the Zhang hype train.

Kabayel beating Bakole would put him into the title conversation but as is only Doobie and Oilskin are for real.

Yep... the very same Parker who fought sick and got splattered against an in form Juggernaut who forced Dubois to bend the knee.

A lot has changed since the glory days of Big Jugs being the guy everyone was ducking.

This thread was so idealic, so nice... We have the upcomer who can slug and just learned to play defense versus the guy who has redeemed himself in his Twilight... And you had to mention that dreaded name!

The very word makes the ground trouble with Scottish bagpipe sounds... That is where bakole hole lives right?

Unlike Zhang, who cannot move after the first round or so, bakole can fight for 12 rounds. He is indeed a very real danger and I fear he will be avoided. I believe he could probably beat dd and Parker at this point.

That depends. We have to assume these guys are learning. So when we see their latest fights we realize that Parker really has come into his own, something you mentioned and I agree with.

But I think Bakole particularly is much more dangerous than in the past. He lost a fight to Mike Hunter who boxed him very nicely and I think he really learned from that as evidenced by how he was unrelenting against Jared Anderson.

A guy who is willing to follow the tea leaves so to speak, and if they are Martin B, but probably understand that letting a boxer off the hook is of no no. I think Bakole applies pressure and a much more measured fashion since Hunter managed to out box him.

Parker is better now. He was a late bloomer. When he fought Joyce Joyce was better, Joyce got scratched when the blueprint for beating him became common knowledge.

If Hunter can outbox Bakole, Parker sure A.F can.

I think Kabayel breaks down and shreds Bakole with body shots.

But don't you think Martin has improved considerably? I'm just looking at what I've seen since that fight. Which, it should be said, Hunter is a very skilled boxer, and Bakole did not do a bad job, it was a close fight.

I do think Parker is better than Hunter, I think he has better movement I definitely agree with that.

When you need to bring excuses into the conversation then we've reached our conclusion. If he was sick he shouldnt have fought. He did fight...and he lost. Three succesive low tier fights for momentum and then followed with a Fury busted shot Wilder for name recognition. Barely sc****d by another lead foot in Zhang. I give Joyce credit for busting Dubios eye...fair play. This is a different Dubios...while you are talking the same Parker...who by the way wouldnt have been anywhere without hometown cooking. He got a title in a fight most observers say he lost to Ruiz. Without that he wouldn't have parlayed into th AJ fight which he lost...at his so called peak....earning money that he the parlayed into a laundering business for NZ gangsters.
