  • Can Anthony Joshua spring a surprise win against the Champion?

On Saturday night Eddie Hearn brings us a battle for the ages as elite contender Anthony Joshua goes up against IBF King, the powerful and charismatic Daniel Dubois. Both men have resumes that leave Tyson's and Lewis' in their dust. Joshua beat a prime Wlad, Parker, Ruiz, Ngannou, Whyte, and more, Dubois beat two ATG's in Miller and Hrgovic. The only man to beat either, and was very unlucky to be overruled after he knocked out Usyk.

With the Deontay Wilder clone being a mechanical flop due to multiple failures and glitches, such as facing the wrong way (when Zhang knocked 'it' out) and a broken trigger mechanism in the right hand, so Wilder has been removed from the rankings as it's not him, it's a poorly made clone, so Joshua is now 4, with Dubois 3, behind Usyk 2 and Fury 1. If you are wondering why Fury is one, well, factor in that Usyk was recently arrested for robbery with what happened in the first fight.

In many ways Dubois is unbeaten, he 'lost' to Joyce through a very unlucky injury after being thumbed in the eye, and, whilst Usyk beat him in a way, it was after Dubois knocked Usyk out, so the fight should have been over, but, as Tyson Fury said, "There is a war in the Ukraine," and the powers-that-be are trying to keep the belts there.

But Eddie Hearn has struck gold again. The undercard is sensational, and even the injured Liam Smith has been replaced by a better fighter. The only thing missing is an elite female such as Ebanie Bridges, or the WBC Veteran title holder Chisora, but, you can't get them all, so let's just buckle up for a night of tremendous PPV boxing and enjoy the ride. Dubois vs Joshua - Who you got? Cash calls it - Dubois by KO R9. Cash in - His Excellency

it's an interesting one. On one hand, I can see Joshua blasting Dubois around the ring, being the slighter better boxer and more experienced, and Dubois being pretty easy to land on at times. On the other, if Dubois at any point really rocks Joshua, which he certainly could, depending on how long is left in the round when it happens, he could easily finish the job off. I think it's 65-35 Joshua. Cash in - His Excellency

Your kind to josh. Maybe 55-45
Anything can happen in heavyweight division. Josh can outbox ddd, but he can only do that whilst unhurt and his head is clear. 1 punch can change trajectory of fight

Just factoring in the right hands Dubois took in the early rounds vs Hrgovic til he took over the fight. Them from Joshua will be harder to take, so Dubois needs to be switched on from Round 1. Cash is rooting for him. Cash in - His Excellency

Joshua is the better boxer, throws punches from range and has power, I favor him to win by stoppage but want to see DDD come and try to win like he has been doing lately.

There is no surprise in AJ winning as that is what everyone is expecting. AJ is the more fluid, more agile, more skilled, and more experienced boxer with better footwork. The surprise will be if Dubois wins.
