Maybe he would've lost his title if he took the Sheeraz offer, or maybe he needed extra camp time to make sure he got the weight off properly. I would love to know Team Janibek's excuse. Surely they couldn't have thought Janibek's mandatory defense was worth more than a Sheeraz fight at Wembley.

Well of course he did. Mikhailovich is his IBF mandatory. He'd have lost one of his belts if he took the Sheeraz fight. Janibek doesn't have that Spence pull that kept him from having to defend his IBF belt more than one time in 4 years. Let's see if Queensberry makes the offer when Janibek doesn't have an IBF mandatory ordered, and how he responds then.
