From not fighting in 2 years being just what he needed (says him) to it being the reason why this was his worst fight ever

Garcia got the most out of his talent. He was a last second replacement and underdog against Amir Khan and pulled the upset. Everyone thought he would get destroyed by Matthysse and he got the W.

He was never supposed to be a top guy. His inactivity hurt him but he had a good career.

Yes, that one-two started the whole thing.

You know something, Lara is not a boring fighter, if he's beating you easily like he did with canelo and Garcia, he won't get out his comfort zone, but if he's been challenge, see Angulo, Hurd, castaņo and Williams, he would hurt you, he's an underrated puncher and his one-two is laser guided. He needs a dancing partner and you will have fireworks

Why not? Have you seen his fight against William, castaņo, hurd and Angulo? I think you overreacting a little bit, he wasn't in any danger and controlled every second of that fight, it was a mismatch, but if the guy in front could pressure him you could have a fight of the year type.

All true, especially the bold. I always thought Danny was a smart fighter. He really had limited skills and ability, but he sure made the most of them. Even here, Garcia used his head. This was a money grab. They offered him an opportunity to walk away with one last paycheck. Danny took it. Why not?

I was big on Danny back in the day and my opinion is the silk pajamas got to him. The activity of the past four years spells no hunger. Lara is big and active i don’t understand why Danny would take the fight. Inactivity plus going up in weight. Not smart.

Castano was 5 years ago. Hurd was 6 years ago. Angulo was 11 years ago. Williams was 13 years ago.

Lara is 41 years old and has not been in the ring with a credible opponent in five years. He should have blown Garcia out of there, he's a blown up welterweight.
real raw real raw likes this.
