For what it’s worth…Bivol is a more difficult style to beat. If I personally had a choice between Benavidez and Bivol, I’d take Benny over Bivol.

It’s much, much more winnable fight for Canelo than Bivol AND a Benavidez would make more money.

The only reason to pick Bivol over Benny would be because it’s a more significant win for Canelo if he should win.

He loses that fight. I don’t think he’s gonna’ take the Bivol fight, though. He loses that fight again easily.

    Not to Benny, though.

      Turki disrespected Canelo.

After the Crawford fight bombed (did we ever get real PPV buy numbers?) he tried to use Canelo’s name to help get sponsors and networks to talk to him. Canelo rightfully put him in his place.

If they do business it will be on the cash cows terms. Turki has to pay the tax now and bend the knee and pay more. $200 million sounds about right.

Boots isn't even in the same weight class ffs.

You don't get it. Even if you think Bivol is better, Benavidez is clearly more dangerous and more risk of getting hurt and stopped, and that is the main reason he would prefer Bivol, which would at worst be a sparring session. Plus he has build in excuses vs Bivol because he would be moving up to 175.
