I legitimately picked Yuri Foreman to beat Cotto when Cotto came back after his beatdown to Pacquiao and was moving up to 154.

I thought he would be pudgy as hell and that Foreman (after seeing him drop and school Daniel Santos on that Cotto/Pacquiao undercard) would just box him up and we’d see the end of Cotto.

I also picked Abraham over Froch
      Haney over Garcia
Bradley over Pacquiao 1st match (big fan of Bradley but even I had him losing that fight)
      Cotto over Margarito 1st fight
      Martinez over Cotto
Carlos Quintana over Paul Williams in the rematch (I was pissed)
Andre Berto over Victor Ortiz (1st fight)
Ivan Calderon over Giovanni Segura (1st fight)
      Pavlik over Hopkins

In my defense, I’ve had a couple picks where I went against the grain and came out on top:

      Garcia over Matthysse
      Salido over Juanma (1st fight)

Anyone on these boards for a while will know I own that fight as well. Not only did I pick Lubin, I talked all kinds of (honestly all in good fun) smack to everyone the week of the fight. Charlo was going DOWN.... Yeah, that was not a fun fight night for me.

        I also own:

-Picking Joe Joyce in the rematch over Zhang.

-Picking Wilder in the 1st rematch over Fury.

-A little old school, I picked David Tua to KO Lennox Lewis. Yep. That happened. I did that.

'Michael Grant over Lennox Lewis, when I look back there was no good reason other than I wanted it to be so'

Loads of people were big on Grant. As I recall, he was insanely talented. He had come up through college football but he was exceptional at track & field, Basketball everything. Every single sport he played he was exceptional. People assumed that once he turned his big hands to boxing he would just naturally be champion. Boxing isn't any other sport, so much of it takes place in that space between your ears, & Grant couldn't cope with Lennox. Come the fight he looked terrified.

I was pretty vocal that Taylor would smoke Teo Lopez. Yeah, bad call there.

Yeah Lubin got shown to be chinny in that fight and that's something that has been a weakness for him after aswell so wasn't my finest hour picking him either lool.

This shouldn't count but I picked Wilder 3x > Fury
Not a fan of either but I really hate Fury
