While bad fight predictions are as common as bad decisions in boxing, rarely do you get the opportunity, as either a fan or journalist, to enter the confessional and confess your sins.

Mine was predicting that Edwin Rosario would easily beat Julio Cesar Chavez when Chavez first moved up from 130 to 135. I thought Chavez was good, but didn't realize just how superb he really was. He dominated Rosario and gave him a beat down. Lol.

I was dumb enough to place a bet in Vegas on Bonecrusher Smith to upset Tyson .But Bonecrusher was terrified ! Let’s see you top that as a worst fight prediction,LOL

I dropped 5k on Tyson at wide chalk v Kevin McBride.Thought Tyson could stop him in his sleep. Also dropped 5k on Lacy v Zags. Robin Reid who had fought both, said Lacy would stop him. I bought it and paid

I bet on Rosario to beat Chavez, My reasoning was that Rosario had phenomenal power in his RH & Chavez didn't have the skills to get out of the way. The way JCC took that fight was an education.

I bet on Haye to beat Bellew. To this day I don't know what went wrong there.

I bet on Duke McKenzie to beat an Irish chef. (Whoever heard of an Irish chef!). McKenzie was so weak at the weight he could barely stand up let alone fight.

It was Chavez v Rosario that made me realise why, in an ATGs mythical match-up, Marciano would've eaten Dempsey. He would've forced him to the ropes & taken away all the leverage from his punches & then just brutalised the man.

Haye was shot to pieces that's what went wrong there. The guys body was falling apart and he couldn't take a shot anymore either. But he was arrogant enough to think he could still get rid of bellew in a couple rounds like the cans he thought in his comeback fights and tbh he did very well selling the public on it aswell.
