Who is Edgar Berlanga ? The kind of douchebag who wears sunglasses in a dark room , because he's a " star".

To be clear , I'm happy for the guy that he's getting a life changing payday . That's what good management is supposed to do for a fighter. What if they decide to wait until " he's ready" , he walks out into the street to cross and gets run over by a UPS truck ? That's what happened to a friend of mine years ago. If you have a chance for a huge come up , take it because life comes with no guarantees.

Funny, it seems that Berlanga will get the purse.
And the fans don't WANT the fight.

Berlanga is a cherry pick by ginger, merely for the fact that he has Puerto Rican roots.

Senor Tainted Beef will have his JC Chavez - Frankie Randall moment very soon. When an underdog puts him on the deck. Probably not tonight, but it’s coming soon

Edgar Berlanga is a professional boxer from Puerto Rico, and competes in the super middleweight division. And as far as how he 'got here', he has options; he could take a flight (either by commercial airline or private charter). Or he could take Amtrak, or even Greyhound. Or perhaps he got some buddies together for a road trip. Numerous possibilities. Given the fact that the author has this article published on a respectable site like Boxingscene.com, you would think that he would already know these things, but I digress...

Why in the world would anyone pay $89.00 for a hand picked opponent specifically chosen because he has no chance?

                  What am I missing?

REALLY? It's Vegas, it was built on suckers spending money on ridged games and all you can eat buffet. Canelo vs. another cherry picked opponent fits right in there but it's 137° in the desert and paying $89.00 for this PPV is getting robed in the comfort of their own home.

I've got Bivol vs Beterbiev, Tim Tszyu vs. Murtazaliev, Joshua vs. Dubois, Jai Opetaia vs. Jack Massey, Ben Whittaker vs. Liam Cameron and Prograis vs Catterall combined..... for less than $60.00.

You are hoping that Canelo gets old and Berlanga granny ****s him. Thats a lot of wishing.
