Who is Edgar Berlanga ? The kind of douchebag who wears sunglasses in a dark room , because he's a " star".

To be clear , I'm happy for the guy that he's getting a life changing payday . That's what good management is supposed to do for a fighter. What if they decide to wait until " he's ready" , he walks out into the street to cross and gets run over by a UPS truck ? That's what happened to a friend of mine years ago. If you have a chance for a huge come up , take it because life comes with no guarantees.

It’s shameful Hearn didn’t try earn Berlanga the fight with improving opponents instead he kept his level at bottom feeder so he could sell his 0 to canelo
Hearn never thinks the long game and this is a terrible precedent for the sport
Fuvk canelo too for giving this clown the paycheck
You must never have seen his cash cow Aj, nothing but old men & cans until he ran into Usyk.Comment

Senor Tainted Beef will have his JC Chavez - Frankie Randall moment very soon. When an underdog puts him on the deck. Probably not tonight, but it’s coming soonComment

Edgar Berlanga is a professional boxer from Puerto Rico, and competes in the super middleweight division. And as far as how he 'got here', he has options; he could take a flight (either by commercial airline or private charter). Or he could take Amtrak, or even Greyhound. Or perhaps he got some buddies together for a road trip. Numerous possibilities. Given the fact that the author has this article published on a respectable site like Boxingscene.com, you would think that he would already know these things, but I digress...Comment

Why in the world would anyone pay $89.00 for a hand picked opponent specifically chosen because he has no chance?

REALLY? It's Vegas, it was built on suckers spending money on ridged games and all you can eat buffet. Canelo vs. another cherry picked opponent fits right in there but it's 137° in the desert and paying $89.00 for this PPV is getting robed in the comfort of their own home.
I've got Bivol vs Beterbiev, Tim Tszyu vs. Murtazaliev, Joshua vs. Dubois, Jai Opetaia vs. Jack Massey, Ben Whittaker vs. Liam Cameron and Prograis vs Catterall combined..... for less than $60.00.

Because this is not a prime undefeated Tyson losing to Douglas that was shocking ..Canelo has a lot of tread on those tires , Canelo has lost twice and has 2 draws , I won't even get into Ws that some think he lost ex. I thought he lost to Lara he has flaws...Again I would be surprised , but not shocked .Comment
