The UFC generated well over a billion dollars in revenue last year, but yeah, it'll never be a money sport

As for the excitement thing, if MMA isnt for you and you prefer boxing stylistically theres nothing wrong with that, but you're fighting a losing battle trying to say it isnt exciting in comparison, because it is actually much more so on average and is widely understood to be by people who have no horse in the race. Its pretty obvious that they've built a great product thats developed into a major league alternative to boxing. Only real reason to **** on it as a boxing fan is bitterness and blind tribalism because theres a serious competitor around now and you wish there wasnt.

The entire sport has to evolve from the top down. 1 title & 1 promoter just like the ufc.
I'm all for anyone that can make fights that mean something and set rules that apply to everyone.

They all doing it to feed their family that's why you never see anyone from a very wealthy family choose boxing...imagine getting hit in the head for years with no title or title fight or any leverage for maximum pay because of one big boss dictator with the way white run UFC.

Imagine what happens to promoters as well and all the TV people...

All you got to do now is to fix the criticisms.... credible ranking,,, credible judges,,,good referee and all...

You mean a league like basketball where the minimum is one million and the promoter/managers have to actually do their job like a sports agent?

A league would have rules like "credible ranking,,, credible judges,,,good referee" that apply to everyone. A league would not allow a self appointed champion to skip playing the Lakers and call themselves champion .... just like basketball. Can even make the "big boss dictator" decision maker an elected or appointed position by the league participants, just like basketball.

In today's no rules boxing, the privileged and a few low level wannabes get rich using a rigged system they don't want to change.

Probably one of the very few times I agree with Dana D!ckhead. Those hating on Alalshik are fanbois of a fighter and not fans of the sport

The UFC is a very good model where the best fights get made, but most of the fighters get paid peanuts. If Turki can apply the UFC model with boxing payscale, then we have something.
