Hard to believe Harper is only 27, feel like she's been in the game forever and she's been in some grueling fights. I think she's a bit shopworn at this relatively young age.

She looked a bit weight drained in the Baumgardner fight and undersized when she moved up. Just don't see sustained success against any of the top tier fighters in any of the weights.

I thought Braekhus deserved the W in that draw, but yeah, Harper had no business in there with a welterweight in the first place. There just aren't enough elite women in the sport for the best to turn down any credible opponent.

It's getting better, though. The US, the UK/Ireland, Argentina, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, Mexico, and South Korea all have up and coming women's scenes. In 15 years things will really be popping, when all the girls who grew up watching Shields and Cameron and Taylor and Serrano come of age.
