A great fight...but marred by the referee giving both fighters a 10 count then an extra 10 seconds to recover as he faffed around.

Yeah , that referee needs remedial training. He was giving way too much time after the knockdowns. Especially after the first knockdown , Hernandez was hurt bad and it's very possible that Garcia could have stopped him in the time left , or at the least ,inflicted damage that could matter in the rest of the fight. The other knockdowns , when Garcia went down, he wasn't as hurt , but it's still unfair to Hernandez to take the time and opportunity from him. I was not happy at all with the Referees actions and I hope to never see him again.

That both guys were able to beat the absolute piss out of one another despite this buffoon making things unnecessarily complicated for them is a testament to them both being warriors.

Garcia has tiny eyes and a huge heart!! He can fight anyone in the division and I'll tune in! Pure exciting fighter, as is Hernandez of course.

I'll add a comment about how he let Garcia hold that glove in Hernandez' face for the first four rounds. Glad to see Hernandez battled through it.

I liked how Hernandez would crack Garcia anytime they broke and started up again or coming out of a clinch. Very persistent and took a lot of chances that paid off.
