There has been more said and written about who Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is not fighting this weekend than who he is.

he adapted from waiting till his opponetns turn 36 like floyd, ggg, kovalev, etc...to waiting till they turn 40, or simply by just fighting mid opponents

Even though he lost to Mayweather, Bivol, 3x Golovkin, and 2 early losses in Mexico that Aliens wiped from his record, he is definitely the greatest to ever lace them up. Cash in - His Excellency

he looks like hes aging well mainly because hes not fighting very hard fights, they are the ones that show this, smaller guys over matched guys are his go to now

I don't like this logic. Canelo is picking guys who are ****** enough to come and fight him directly. Makes no sense. Some guys are sluggers and other guys are boxers. Basically, Canelo has evolved as a more efficient cherry picker so he can look better after the fight. I guess the art of cutting off the ring, jabbing more and learning how to be more efficient in your movement isn't part of Canelo's arsenal anymore. A true champion and fighter will adapt to any style. Ali, Leonard, Pacquaio, Ray Robinson, Holyfield, Lewis, Hopkins, Hagler, Ray Leonard, Chavez, etc. This article to me basically condones Canelo's picking of certain types of opponents. Those who don't like to run. He likes those that like to stand in front of him and fight.

Anyone who is critizing Canelo don't watch the fight.
