Berlanga is alright, not as bad as people are saying. Canelo tires round 9 onwards. Loses a lot of explosiveness. The left hook to the body is canelo main weapon that may ko berlanga

I see that as well. I think Berlanga is going to have a huge chip on his shoulder and try his damndest expecting to have to withstand bombs to the chin and if a body shot doesn’t put him down for good, they’ll definitely soften him up enough for him to crumble from a follow-up flurry.

That's likely exactly what's going to happen, unless there's no VADA for this fight and Canelo can have his preferred tacos. He'll probably beat Berlanga up and drop him a few times, but it will go to a clear decision. He hasn't stopped anyone since Plant in 2021, and he barely got that one.

Personally, I think it's because he has good power, but it's not all that it was cracked up to be, and he fell in love with the notion, and just goes throwing bombs. If he altered the intensity and got back to being a little tricky with his shots, I think he'd be getting more stoppages, but even guys who have really good power struggle getting stoppages if you feel the power and you know it's going to be that same level every time. It can even get easier to take the shots as you get more used to the timing. If they keep you guessing about when to tense against the shot because some are light and some are hard, it's much more draining to defend.

It'd be an embarrassment, period. But there's a reason he's favored 2000-1 lol

If he doesn't KO Berlanga, I'd say he's losing his ways and his better performances may be behind him. Berlanga has waaay too many openings that will give Canelo opportunities to land his KO shots. Based on Berlanga having been dropped before and against a dude that doesn't hit as hard as Canelo, it's not a good sign for Berlanga. I'm expecting Canelo to mostly carry him and decide when he wants to put him away. If he doesn't, again, I think he may be missing some steps.

He's at the tail end of his career, his better performances are definitely behind him. His Many Fans are just trying to enjoy his fights/events while they still can and his Many Detractors will have to find someone else to direct their Hate at, once he hangs up his gloves...

No matter how much hate he receives, his long successful career and the amount of $$$ this guy has made is admirable... So many of these guys who put their life and health on the line for us spectators whined up broke, in terrible health and alone. I'm glad for him and all the others who leave the profession wealthy and with all their senses....

Pac did more than struggle vs a part time Special Ed teacher
Frazier had a really bad day vs underdog Foreman
And Foreman had a really bad day vs Ali
                  Frankie Randall made JCC cry
Slow AF Baldomir showed Zab and Gatti a thing or 2
No one had a bad day like Mike Tyson did vs Buster

In comparison, Nelo having some problems beating Berlanga should not be looked down upon.

Looks like this ended up being the case. Very bad look for Canelo.
